Your marrakech desert tours 2 days starts early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel or riad. Leaving Marrakech behind, you will cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops along the way to enjoy panoramic views and take photos.
After a lunch break, the journey continues south toward Merzouga. Please note that this is a long driving day, with approximately 8–10 hours on the road depending on traffic, weather, and stops. The itinerary is designed for travelers with limited time who want to reach the Sahara in just two days.
Depending on your arrival time, you will meet your camel team near the Erg Chebbi dunes for the sunset experience. Ride across the golden dunes and stop at a high dune to admire the sunset.
After the camel ride, continue to your desert camp, where you will settle into your tent. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars, followed by Amazigh music and drumming around the campfire.
Wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at the desert camp, we will leave the camp by 4×4 and return to Merzouga before beginning the journey back to Marrakech.
Along the way, we will make several stops for photos, rest, and lunch. We will also stop near Ait Ben Haddou for panoramic views and photos from outside the historic ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.
We will then continue through the High Atlas Mountains and cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass toward Marrakech. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the late afternoon or evening, depending on traffic, road conditions, and the duration of stops.
